Not in my neighborhood. The water here is really dirty, but it could be that it's the pipes that are really old. a reason a lot of people in this cul-de-sac think that the water is bad is because it has a strange taste to it, and also this same water runs through a restaurant my uncles work at/ own. Like have you ever been in a restaurant kitchen and seen the water there? It is DIRTY. Believe me when I say that the water in my tap is downright filthy.
Back in my old home though, our water was really clean so you could just turn the handle and there ya go! A clean glass of water. But how "good" the tap water can be, really depends on where you live.

Absolutely. Tap water is better than bottled water. Bottled water isn't held to the same standards as tap water. Not only that, but tap water has flouride which is good for you teeth.

actually. Tap water is almost as good as the water you get out of a bottle. The water comes from resavors.

where do you live? do you believe its possible that the government may "tamper" with something the general public has a need for? If you have access to public records, and you clearly do as you are on this website, spend the time checking into the water safety of your town. If your town is "city water controlled" they have a report to file on the water purity, etc. Start there and if you don't find it acceptable, you have a couple of options....get in touch with a local representative or buy a water purifier.

Tap water really isn't safe to drink. It has dissolved solids, chlorine, and god knows what else in it. Ewww. You should only be drinking purified or distilled water, not spring water.

I by no ability enjoyed water, I continuously have pop (or beer). the faucet water right here is crap besides, it is Severn Trent (or South Staffs i won't be in a position to remember which) and it continuously has this sediment of white scum on the coolest once you pour it in a tumbler. at times it even comes out the faucet white and evidently like sperm it is disgusting. you oftentimes could bypass away the faucet working for a while until now it is going sparkling. in case you ever come to my homestead, do no longer drink out the faucet. ;-)

Even with all those chemicals, not always, but if you buy one of those purifiers, then the water would even be better to drink and it is less expensive than buying those bottled waters at the stores.

Unless your one of the people unfortunate enough to live in a third world country it's fine. I think people in countries where the water is fine put to much emphasis on making it better. My God just be glad it's clear

it depends on the area and the pipes. Some can bring nasty chemicals with them. Some chemicals, like flouride, is poisonous but in small doses can help your body.
