Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."
to drink it, put it in honey and water, or apple juice--tastes like cider..cost is 5 dollars a qt at the healthfood store

AH, the never ending saga of pimples. I hate those little SOB's. I have used Proactiv and it worked.... for a while. I have spent so much $$$ on so many different things, I would be a millionaire, if i hadn't.
I accidently came into this stuff from www.beautifulskin.com. Like anything else, i knew it wouldn't work.... but I was completely wrong. This stuff's main ingredient is glycolic acid in the wash, toner, and the intensive cream and benzoyl peroxide is in the lotion. I swear i have shed tears over how amazing my face looks now. I would get thses pimples that they call cystic acne.... not one since. I would check it out on ebay, because the website has some silly deal where you have to pay for shipping and then send back a smalll portion of the stuff or they will bill you $59. Good luck and try to be patient when you use stuff.

Proactive did not work for me either. I have been using a Neutrogena oil-free acne wash/daily scrub. The other thing I did was changed my make up to Bare Essentials. I think it is suppose to be mineral free and I have noticed a huge decrease in the number of break outs.

Proactive didn't work for me either. There is a product you can find at ULTA or Wal-Mart, called AcneFree, it's shown to work 4 times faster and better than Proactive, and guaranteed to see a difference in two days. It really is some great stuff.

Proactive didn't work for me either! I really really like the new Neutrogina stress acne relife, it smells good, it works and my skin feels great. i've only been using it for three days and I already notice a difference. I got the foam wash and the scrub to use once a week!! so far so good! I plan on using it for a while, It seems to work well! I also plan on going and getting one of the masks and skin creams to use with the wash!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Actually, it doesn't matter what you buy.... salicylic acid is the working ingrediant. Try to find products with as much salicylic acid as possible.
St. Ives Apricot Scrub is good. Usually, I have more luck controlling acne when I just ignore it, though. Honestly, if I forget it's there, it just goes away.
If you continue having a problem and it really bothers you, go see a dermatologist. One of my ex's had to go on a low dose antibiotic for acne as a teen, and he had beautiful skin when I met him.

Make sure you used Proactive long enough for it to have a chance to work before giving up. Aloette products are great for your face if you need something else. Contains aloe.

It depends on how bad ur acne is, if its not that bad then u should get benzoil peroxide 5%, but if its really bad and it doesnt go away then u should see a dermatologist & they might tell u to get accutane, u have to take that treatment for about 4 months

Anything with glycolic acid works well. so check the labels! Also I got a new AVON product called Correct and Fade Peel, and it works great, the main ingredients are salicylic acid and glycolic acid.
