Windows vista is not yet supported with our company, were using programs that is only tested in XP system.

Yes, you can. In fact, Vista does not work well with the XPS M1210 laptop (Dell is well aware of this). I intended to return my new XPS laptop due to its incompatibility with Vista, and Dell recommended I simply downgrade to XP to resolve my issues (they provided a free copy of XP as well).

They may not sell it to you with the computer, but you can still buy it, and, yes, it will work. But so will Vista.

sure, if you were to buy the xps as a business computer, you would have theoption of what os you wanted.
