As a former God-hating, blaspheming, skirt-chasing, angry and violent atheist (turned evangelical Christian), I can assure you that I believe whole-heartedly in Jesus Christ, and what He accomplished on my behalf.

Wow...I may be in the minority here, but my first response is, "beg your pardon?"
I am uncertain what "believing in Jesus is". Does that mean, did Jesus exist? Certainly. We believe we have found his existence in Roman records before his crucification. Do I believe he accomplished moral greatness? Of course I do...almost all religions have basis in historical fact (with exaggerations like any good myth or story)
But do I think he is a deity? (if that is what you are asking) no. Because I am indeed an atheist.
I am confused why everyone thinks he himself is a deity. Even if I were a Christian, would I not believe that God is the deity? And that Jesus is simply a vessel for God to exercise his power on earth. Which means Jesus himself is no more than a staff of a wizard (God).
Whether Jesus was the most moral man or not, has no bearing on "magical" or "Godlike powers".
It is like saying Abraham Lincoln was a God because most believed him moral. Or Leonidas was a God because most believed him a hero. I don't see how these attributes have any weight in Godlike attributes.

I believe in Jesus Christ. Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. Praise God
2 Peter 1:11 - For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 2:20 - For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2 Peter 3:2 - That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2 Peter 3:18 - But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

No He isn't a myth. Jesus actually is an historical figure. But I also believe He is all that is described in the Bible.

Some people believe Jesus didn't exist. Some people think Jesus existed but was just a human.
I believe Jesus was God come to earth in human form, died for our sins, rose again on the third day, and ultimately ascended into heaven while his disciples watched.

No myth. Jesus is real. Without Him you're lost. He has been part of my life since 2 Jan. 1971 and picked my husband for me.

Jesus might not be a myth, because he is most probably alive in the past. But then if you ask me do I believe he is a god, chances are, no.

I DO believe in Jesus. If you are a TRUE Christian, (not the kind that mock real christians) Meaning you have accepted Christ as your personal Lord and savior, God promises sO many amazing things to you! I have seen so many miracles only God can perform, it would turn the nastiest, cruelest, violent athiest into a believer. Jesus is real, and he LIVES!!

I don't know how I could prove it, because it's entirely possible that it's all in my head, isn't it? None of us knows if the truth we can see is really THE TRUTH. Our view is too limited. If you need to believe, then you'll be led to it. One may live a righteous life even while thinking the world is flat. I don't see how you can do better than that. Only a knucklehead would care what name you use. See for yourself.
