This documentary scared the crap out of me. I am a christian but watching that pastor and those kids freaked me out, we had to turn it off within 45 minutes of it starting.

Did it freak any other christians out there out?

At first I thought it was great to have our children so excited about God. Then it got kinda creepy. I got uncomfortable, however I did make it through the whole documentary. It was almost like they were being guided into believing.
As a Christian, Ive struggled with talking in tongues. I have never done it and have felt no need to, but Wow , those kids where just all crazy about it. It was very scary!!

The "Jesus camp" is neither unique or a modern invention. There are always fanatics with a direct line to God that will take advantage of ignorant parents and innocent children.

What I don't understand is why their coreligionists never seem to take them down and plaster the names throughout the Christian parts of the world so they can't start up again elsewhere..

It's a person who is overzealous who is leading that group. She is well meaning, but giving the wrong message to the kids.

I only watched bits and pieces of it, but it was enough that I would not consider sending my kids there. Laying hands on a cutout of GWBush was a little too much for the Democratic Christian.

Yes i watched it last night when a poster put in a link, and i did find it scary. I don't want to condemn the leaders, but i thought the children looked like they were following their leaders blindly and innocently in order to please them, because that's what children do, they just want to please...i can only pray for God's will in it. I do feel for the children. Put it this way if i had children i wouldn't let them go there...

Edit: i speak in tongues and have no problem with it..just to make this clear i had no problem with the children speaking in tongues...Shalom..

Fortunately, the camp was shut down a few months after this came out due to bad publicity. And yes, it's very scary to watch. It's definitely a form of child abuse.

nicely than the administrators performed their objective, to make you fearful of Christians. What are you fearful of? it is not like this is distinctive from any Democrat rally? in elementary terms it rather is a few million/100000000 the size. Yeah suited, like a pair hundred people tenting in North Dakota are going to take over the U.S. or something.

Christian indoctrination is child abuse.

Indoctrinating children and enforcing the indoctrination with threats of hellfire and eternal damnation is child abuse.

In what other context could you threaten children with torture and get away with it.

That is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the Dominionist movement goes.

The people in that video should be in jail. The parents of the kids in that video should be in jail for sending their kids to that place.
