Yes birds can have seizures. They can fall to the bottom of their cage, flap about and be unable to stand. These are sometimes caused by a diet lacking in some way, contaminated food and poisonous fumes. If he is fine now, you should have a good think about what happened just before his seizure.
i.e Did you use fly spray, a cleaning product, disinfectant, cook something with a strong odour, feed him something salty (causes kidney failure). Does he have bells/toys that aren't stainless steel (metal poisoning).
Make sure his diet includes good quality seed/pellets fruit and veggies, a cuttle bone and maybe a mineral block. Give fresh food and water every day, clean his cage often but don't use disinfectants or strong cleaners, just a little mild detergent and hot water, rinse very well. Do you worm him regularly? Follow the the instructions on the bottle to the letter.
Sometimes seizers happen once and never again, I don't know why. Keep an eye on him and good luck.

Birds do have a form of epilepsy, apparently (or so I have heard).

You need to call your avian veterinarian.

He might also have an inner-ear infection. He could have eaten something funky. Try to recall everything he ate in the past day or two, even if the food has any molds on it, etc.

He could have been spooked by a shadow creeping along the wall, or an insect... I can't really help you more than that.

i know that dogs and cats have seizures . i suppose it would follow that a bird could to.
there are many kinds of seizures. i suspect the only one you would notice with a bird would be a gran mall . fall down shake that's about all i think you might notice with a bird . there are other symptoms but i don't think you would be able to detect that with a bird.
as far as treatment i suppose the vet could perhaps do something but i kind of think its not likely.
