I am a mormon and I have a ? for all you christians out there. Mind you I do not want this to be a Mormon bashing fun or anything like that. Plus if you call yourself christian you would say nothing as apouse to saying something negative or scripture slinging. There are different bibles and versions hence we could do that all day. But that is the spirit of contention.

If there was another book with a testimony of Christ isn't it worth checking out and praying about?

Isn't it our duty to seek all doctrines and read them and see if the holy ghost backs it or not?

What hapened to using the holy ghost to make decisions?

If you got that feeling would you change your life?

Do you go too church for fellowship or God?

I have had my confermation but I fear many have never actually read or even read the summary of the book of Mormon and you could be missing out on some awesome doctrine. Please read pray without pre reserved thoughts and see what happens.

To answer certain ?'s Mormons do not have anything against black people. Many are my friends in church. If you are miss interputing scripture then read it again. Why did the color of skin change between cain and abel.. ? I dont know but I am still praying and God will answer me in his due time. That applies for the skin color changing of the lamanites. Oh and to you unchristlike people I will not respond to negative or nasty comments. You are entitled to your opinion. I live by example.

I'm a Mormon and I'm shocked at these answers... Many of them tell us how I supposedly believe.

We don't believe we are saved by works. We are saved by the grace and atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ.. At the same time though, faith without works is dead. Can you really look the savior in the face and say, I've accepted you as my redeemer, if you won't even follow His commandments?

What makes so many people think God can't or won't bring His gospel in fullness back to the earth? Look at all the confusion between Christian sects...Do you think God is the author of such strife?

What happened to 'by their fruits ye shall judge them'.
The Church of Jesus Christ on the whole, not as individuals, produces more Christians who are family oriented, honest and true to their faith than any other faith.

I bear my testimony, that I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's church, restored through and unbroken line of priesthood authority. It teaches the Saviors gospel in fullness. I testify that Joseph Smith was and is a Prophet of God and he really did see Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
I also testify that you don't need to take my word alone. Heavenly Father will let you know the truth of all things through the Holy Spirit, if you will pray with real intent. Ask in faith, though careful study. I say these things in and through my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ amen.

I agree, we should not "bash" Mormons however, we should not lie to pacify or be politically correct either.

There isn't any other testimony, no other prophets of Christ after the book of revelations. Not, Muhammad and his Qur'an, not Jospeh Smith and his book of Mormon or the other books he came up with to suite his purpose.

God doesn't have a wife, the most exalted Mormons are not going to become god-like in heaven and the trinity is ONE entity (no wonder some of these other cultures in the world believe that Christians are polytheistic instead of monotheistic, it is because of you guys!).

However, you are right about spiritual discernment, the Holy Spirit does give guidance in that aspect.

Problem is it seems Mormons are listening to a different spirit than the Holy Spirit or they wouldn't pervert God's word.

Joseph Smith was NOT a prophet, and neither was his successor.

For you information, the history of the Mormon Church was very racist and now you're having a hard time living it down.

I have already checked out the Book of Mormon and researched it's claims. The things it teaches are so radically different from Traditional Judaism and Christianity, that it CANNOT be considered "just another interpretation". The polytheism of Mormonism and the monotheism of Christianity/Judaism are in conflict: they both cannot be true at the same time.

One has to be false!

It is not "against the Holy Spirit", as some would claim, to use a logical analysis of differing scriptures.God gave us the ability to reason, for a reason! "Come, let us reason together" He says in Isaiah. Why shouldn't we do just that?

Unfortunately, that's the problem. You're seeking doctrine and rules for an answer - and the only way to Jesus is through grace. You are not defined by what you do - but by who you are. The biggest issue with Mormon beliefs is that you get to heaven by works.

While God does give us a standard to live by - he clearly states that in the end what saves us is believing in Him. Accepting your inheritance - which He gives unconditionally if we were to just accept it.

Our nature says that's too simple - we always feel that we have to work for whatever we get. Your book and the Bible are in heavy contradiction. I sin every day. I have bad thoughts and I feel selfish - but I know that I am not defined by this. My ultimate inheritance is in Jesus Christ - and only by that am I saved. And I don't need a library of books and multiple interpretations to tell me that. I only need one Book.

maximum Christians, Mormons lined, have confidence that Christ became actually and bodily resurrected, and rose from the ineffective with a actual physique. after all, he ate fish and honey in front of his disciples, and instructed them to handle him as evidence that he extremely became back in his physique. So did he die returned? Did his physique dissolve? Vanish while he no longer needed it? The Bible says no longer something approximately Christ loss of life returned or otherwise loosing His physique, so it stands to reason that he nevertheless has his physique. do all of us die returned earlier we pass to heaven? What then of the super deal created from the resurrection? i comprehend that maximum Christians have some exceptionally strange concepts approximately heaven - sexless ambiguous bodies of a few form living in some realm exterior of area and time the place there is not any gravity, warmth, etc. yet loss of life returned? i do no longer think of any of the Christian sects, even people who're slightly obtainable, have confidence that. For the checklist, i think Christ became resurrected and keeps his physique, all of us get resurrected, and all of us stay in Heaven with our resurrected bodies.

I've read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it as that guy at the end directs.

Guess what happened when I prayed? See the rest of this message to find out.

"Testament" does not mean "testimony." A testament is a will. When the testator dies, only one will can be put into effect; all others are declared null and void.
No, I don't think we should seek all doctrines. Paul wrote that if any man, or an angel from heaven. preach any other gospel, let him be accursed. It doesn't matter to me if Joseph Smith did see an angel (although I really don't believe he did), what was already written is sufficient for me.

I'm not Christian, but I do agree with you. If I were Christian I surely would read the Book of Mormon. Who's to say if it's true or not, certainly not people who don't care enough to read it.

The Book of Mormon was not wrote by God. Don't you think if God thought it was "good enough" for y'all to have it, He would have let us have it too? I won't read the false doctrine you call your book of mormon. God says to not add or take away from His holy word. I'm sorry but you are in a cult, the LDS is not even really a Christian church, as y'all think he took our sins in he garden of Gethsemane, and He didn't, He died on the cross for our sins.

After reading your question and comments it seems like you are saying that Mormons aren't Christians. Maybe I'm interpreting your comments wrong, but it looks like you are drawing a line in the sand with the Mormons on one side, and Christians on the other.
