The thing is that it has to be when you're ready, both physically and emotionally! You are the only one who knows this answer. I have a feeling that you're not ready simply because you had to ask. Never rush into sex. Make sure you're ready and fully educated. God Bless:)

Many have said this and I will say it too....till when you feel you are ready. My opinion is you should at the least be over 18.
No time limit can be given. I have been in long term relationships and not had sex because I wasn't ready. For me I waited till I was ready, which was after 20 years of age...I knew that the man was the right guy, I knew that I wanted to marry him...we are still going strong and hope to be married once we finish college...however, I think it is important to talk about it first. Him and I talked about all types of things first. Most important for me was to let him know that protection wasn't an option is was required, which he agreed with me with.
Furthmore, it might just have been me and my guy, but we also talked about what would happen if I were to get pragnant. I needed him to know what I would and would not do if I became pregnant so he and I would both know what to expect.

I personally wouldn't wait more than two or three months, especially if we were seeing each other regularly...sex happens to be an important relationship aspect to me and I'm not going to date someone a year before I find out whether or not we're sexually compatible...typically, we cross that bridge within the first few weeks (exactly how soon tends to vary).

To be honest with you the sex thing is over rated. The 2 of you are adults (i hope) and that is a decision that is made between the 2 of you. But you do it when you feel the time is right. Hell if you and her or him decide to screw the same day you meet then that's yall decision, as long as the decision is mutual. Good luck!!

Until ur ready to have sex i mean it took me and my boyfriend a year and 9 months before we had sex for the first time in our life but dont do it until ur ready and when u know they r the right one for one to spend the rest of ur life with thats the best time to hav sex with someone that u love is when u knwo u truely love them and u will be with them for the rest of ur life

Until ur married so ur relationship is more then just sex and u do not have to worry about getting pregrant and not being able to take responsibility for ur actions.

Best idea: until marriage. It's the only way to prevent getting STD's and unplanned pregnancies. Also, there are so many emotions involved. I don't know from personal experience, but many of my friends didn't wait and now they wish they had, for various reasons. Hope you make that decision.
