Depends on the religion. As far as I can see religion gives people a set of boundaries within which they can live their lives. It doesn't control them, it just helps keep them from losing their grip of what's important. That's, of course, assuming the person isn't inclined to obsessive behavior.

really, how about certain atheists who demand our kids not learn about creationism in public school.
what about schools that censor christian music at Christmas.
the only people i see controlling thought is Marxist atheists run amok!
