I'm running a Linux. I want to install XP from disks. For some reason, it won't let me run them. So I want to completely wipe everything so I can start from scratch and install Windows XP. How can I do this?

this is the best way...
back up all the thing you want to save then, restart your PC.. as soon as the pc on.. start pressing DEL button.,. then go to the boot devices.. choose... CDROM first second C:,,, after that save the changes.. then insert the windows Xp on the CDROM and restart your PC.. as soon as the computer starts the log, it will ask you.. press any key to load from cdrom then press any key.. the the windows setup will run...

Boot from the XP disk and choose the format option.

Actually instead of doing that partition your hard drive and with this you can install windows XP on to your computer and you will be to have both OS on your computer.

But if you don't want to go through all that hassle then go to the following link and it will show you want to do.
