A normal check up (and nothing else) would cost between $50 and $90 depending on where you live/go. You should get your dog checked out once a year. They should be health checked (once per year) and after their initial shots (at 6-8, 10-12, 14-16 weeks of age), they need a booster shot EVERY year from then on.

Getting a dog spayed at a Vet clinic is usually pretty expensive. It can cost anywhere from $100 to $250. Generally it costs more to get a female spayed than a male neutered because of the difficulty and risk of surgery.

Your dog should be tested for heartworm every year. You can worm them with syrup every month on your own. You can also buy flea and tick products from the vet which you can administer on your own. A really good brand of flea and tick prevention is Frontline. That is usually $20 from the vet clinic. The worming syrup is only around $5-$10.

You need to go to the vet once per year for a general check up and a booster shot.

Good questions. I have a maltese/shih tzu mix and I take no chances. When he sneezes wrong he's at the vet. I would try your local humane society 1st their check ups cost like $12 bucks. There prices are really reasonable. in fact the most inexpensive you could probably find a spayed may cost about $30.. And you really only need to go to the vet once a year for a booster shot after all the initial shots are taken. And as far as flea control and heartworm goes you can also get medication from them for treatment of those issues in 3 or 6 month doses and they will again be the cheapest around. Any other treatments that your dog may need such as xrays etc. I would get a referral from the humane society or scout your telephone for prices by calling other local vets because I don't believe the humane society covers things like that good luck

It depends on your dog. With an older dog, it is a better idea to go at least twice a year so they can detect a problem earlier. A younger dog is fine with once or as you notice problems. Dogs should get a heart worm test once a year and you can go get flea and heart worm preventative without bringing your dog in (though the dog has to be tested for HWs first). Just stop by at your convenience. If you go to a low cost spay and neuter clinic, it will probably be around $30-50. If you go to a regular vet, it can bet $50-200+. Just get it done before sexual maturity.

Depends on the vet clinic. I suppose a regular check-up can cost anywhere between $30-50 dollars.

Getting you're dog spayed generally costs $90.00, however the fee could very likely be different in you're area.

Phone up you're local veterinarian if you want more accurate prices.
