When i read the book of plillipians, i read the about an internal debate of torture and being free to go to God when death and mercy claims the saint unto Jesus.
Was Terrie shaivo being tortured in a body of imprisonment or was her death the freedom that the bible says only comes when a person dies? thus it would be a mercy killing.

i know that being alive, is torture, because there are people who are wicked enough to make it happen. The bible describes a certain torture when men will bite off their tongue, so it will get worse. There is one person i know of that told me he bit off his tongue
Some people believe that a body is indeed a prison to the soul, if it cant leave. then the bible says that we are free in death and philip debates the question on whether it is BETTER to go to God or to remain.
if the ct scan and the autopsy testimony here are true, there was no life, but there was other testimony as well.
My question wasnt about mental torment, but about physical abuse, how many times did the husband visit Terri during a week or a month, Was his true desire to let Her Go? or big cover up with lie after lie?

TS had no brain activity and no hope of recovery. To all intents and purposes, she was already dead. There is no slippery slope. Brain death is death.

Regardless of what some would try to say it seems evident that Terri was dead years before she was allowed to die. There are many cases like hers in history this one just got more attention. After all different parts of the brain affect and control different things, there are cases where people have had half of their head shot away, they show nothing that resembles conscious thought but their heart and lungs keep working because that part of the brain controlling automatic functions continued to work. Does that mean they're alive? Of course not,but this is the price we pay when religious teaching takes precedent over rational thought. Terri's parents simply wanted to keep her corpse alive as long as they could either because of their religion,or more likely because they could not come to terms with their childs death, which happened years before she stopped breathing.

Terrie Shaivo was brain dead and what made her Terrie was long gone. Her body though physically alive was beyond pain and misery. Removing her feeding tube was the right thing to do and her autopsy affirmed that her brain was mainly liquid. She was gone end of story.

Terry Shaivo suffered a heart attack. So she was committed to death by God, not by any human entity.

If God wanted Terry Shaivo to live, no doctor on earth could have "commited her to death," or killed her, by pulling a plug or a feeding tube.

Terry was freed from torture and suffering when God let her conscious brain die from lack of oxygen due to her heart attack.

Terrie's death was wrong because no one has the right to take another life except the life giver, and how do they know if by some miracuolas power she might have overcome her medical conditon, and if she did hind sight would be murder

Noone knows what Terrie felt. What makes you think that she was in tourment? How do you that she would have wanted to die? She was not able to express her feelings like you and I can. How do you think being starved to death felt...bodily organs shutting down one by one? That sounds like the tourture to me.

God bless,

If you'll look at her CT Scan you will plainly see that she was already gone. We just studied her scans in Philosophy class. There was no way for her to ever 'recover'.
