YOU WILL!!!!!...... if you dredge the chicken in flour, seasoned with salt and lots of pepper, first, then into buttermilk, then into another mixture of flour with salt and lots of black pepper. Fry until GBD (Golden, Brown & Delicious). Set in low temp oven until all are fried and ready to eat. YUM!!

I remember when this place 1st opened. I happened to be down that way and noticed hundreds of Latin people lined up around the block. At first I thought it was some govt. assistance thing. I drove by and didn't think much more about it. It wasn't until some time after that I noticed the name of the place. I knew what Pollo was, so I was intrigued. But once again, I continued on and drove by. I had to be somewhere. Finally, me and my friend happen to be down there for a Laker playoff game. I told him about this place that seemed crazy busy the times that I'd driven by. We decided to give it a try. To my amazement, I'd stumbled onto the KFC of Latin America...Guatemala to be exact. I checked out the menu and to the best of my Spanish translating ability, ordered up some good 'ol fried chicken. It was unlike any Fried Chicken I'd ever had. Really good flavor with a little Latin heat. Not greasy like KFC, Popeye's, or Church's. Just de-lish-shus! I've never had anything comparable since then. I need one of these up in the Bay.

I worked with a woman from Mississippi named Miss Vickie who made fried chicken soooo good She said it "Make you hurt yourself darlin" - and it did

She had her grandmothers cast iron skillets and swore that these skillets, love, and a bit of bacon grease were the only secrets she needed.

My mom does. she Dips the chicken in whisked egg and then she dips it in dried bread crums and then she fries it in olive oil. It is lush, better than crappy KFC, comercial garbage! You cant beat home cooked fried chicken. Then the person second on the list is me, as my mom taught me!
