Look in the local paper for cheap or free things to do. Sometimes there's cultural festivals or art festivals where you can just walk around and if you don't buy anything, you don't have to pay. Look for free concerts or such. Plan things with your family too. If you're not close to your family (either emotionally or geographically) plan something with friends of yours.
If he still doesn't want to go out, then you are going to have to find someone else. I know, I had such a boyfriend.

Sit down with this guy and tell him that you would like to start having a date night every week, 2 weeks or so. Ask him what he thinks. If he objects, ask why. Does he take you around his friends? Does he tell his family you are his girlfriend or just a friend? If he cares about you and is truly your "boyfriend", he will want to compromise on this issue. If not, then cut him loose and find someone who shares your ideas and interests.

Does he refuse to go out or does he just not suggest it? I think that you should say to him, "Let's go to out tonight", and see what he says. If it's a matter of him being a cheapskate then that's a different story. You could take turns paying or go dutch, but if he just wants to sit around ALL the time and only goes out with other people, then you should tell him that it bothers you. Good luck.

Okay so instead of getting upset about it, mention it to him. The only way he will ever know how you really feel is if you tell him. There's no need to cheat when you can just be real and truthful. Why purposely break a heart when you can just open up your mouth and speak? Communication is key in any relationship.

Take action!!!! If you work and get paid on Fridays, make it your treat!!!! But don't make it a habit of just you treating, make a deal(like every other week) his treat on the opposite Fridays. Summer is coming, picnics r nice..sunsets/sunrises too! What about your family? If he still gives you grief, go out yourself with friends, he'll end up being the loser!! Do stand your ground, show your assertive side ! Good Luck!

Say you want a little change, its harmless. Its not being a gold digger if you want something simple. I'm a cheap date. Yeah, sitting at home and just watching tv can get lame after awhile.

Tell him how you feel, the man must be lazy huh? Not very good health hehe. Tell him you need to go out for fresh air maybe try going to the beach or a restruant, if he doesn't break up I guess, because it's pretty boring lol..... Hope he does!

Go out without him. You are your own woman, with your own interest and ideas. If all he wants to do is sit around the house and watch TV, let him. Go out and do you own thing with your friends and come home to him when you're done.

Just ask him to go do something w/ you. Say you like to hang out with him, but you want to do more exciting things with him.
he should understand. if it's money issues, how about the two of you switch paying for the date.
