Bank of America, Orchard Bank and HSBC have card selectors that will tell you if you might be approved for a certain card.
They do not pull a hard inquiry for doing the selector. If you apply for a recommended card then they will pull a hard inquiry.

Keep in mind that pre-approvals, whether online or by mail, are still subject to being denied.

Many banks offer the instant approval option for online applicants. You can try it at http://www.credit-card-analyzer.com/Instant-Approval-Cards-881877-page.php But 'instant approval' doesn't mean you will get the card instantly. You will have to wait a few days. Keep in mind that when applying for a pre-approved credit cards you are still filling out an application form. The information is carefully reviewed by the bank. There are chances it will be denied. Most of the banks will offer pre-approved credit cards only to people with excellent to good credit history.

I have placed this in the source box. There is a wealth of information there and a great free debt management software program. I bookmarked the site as I return to it often for the advice it offers. I hope this helps you.
