ok i need a really good website tjat i can go to to learn about trucks and their parts........i want to impress my parents and show them that i can handle it.........i want this 1985 GMC Sierra 1500........its SO NICE and i really want to prove to them that i can do it by learning this stuff!! i own a repair shop and the best way you could learn about this truck ,would be to buy a manual on it,it would tell you every detail on that truck,and that should really impress them, this way you could learn all about this truck and Chevrolet's at the same time,that would be better than any web site you could ever go to,the best manual for this would be a Haynes repair manual it covers that vehicle all the way from a complete tear down of the whole vehicle to putting it back together again,id say that would impress them a lot,good luck with it,i hope this helps.

go to auto zone and buy a auto book on gmc trucks. tell 's you how to work on it and the best of luck. girl's drive pickup trucks too.

if you want to impress them, take truck to a repair shop, preferably where you know someone, and have them run a diagnostic on it and check other parts. if you tell them you are thinking of buying , they should let you know if it is worth it
