In order to get sick you need to be exposed to a virus. However, we are often exposed to viruses and our bodies' immune systems just fight them off. We catch more colds or flus in colder months because when our bodies are cold or wet, our immune systems can't fight off viruses as well. So, actually it is theoretically EASIER to get sick if you are cold. But just wearing shorts when it is cold out doesn't mean you will automatically get sick.
I think it is up to you. I wear dresses and skirts all year (not everyday). If it is cold out, I'm obviously not standing around outside for long. If you are comfortable in shorts, go for it. Just don't stay outside if you are cold. Use common sense and you should be fine.

People develop a cold because their immune system was weakened at the time, and being cold compromises your defenses. So yes, it's possible to get sick if you wear shorts in that temperature. You're probably better off wearing shorts when you and your skin feel comfortable when exposed (try out different temperatures). Temperature isn't the only factor. If there's a chilly wind blowing, that could weaken your system, too. Just check the weather before you get dressed for the day.

no, u get sick from germs not temperature, but the temperature can weaken your immune system, but it mostly depends on what you are used to. if you live in florida, then 50 degrees is freezing and you would prefer to wear pants, but if you live in alaska, 50 degrees might feel really warm, so you would wear shorts, it depends on what your body is used to

The only way you will get sick is to be exposed to germs, temperature outside and what you are wearing has little to do with it.

you will not get sick from being cold you need germs to get sick. My nephew wears shorts all year round and is very healthy. He lives in Orange County, CA Depending on where you live you might be able to wear them all the time but if it snows at your house i probably wouldn't wear them all the time.

you're no longer likely to seize any illness from being out in the chilly, hypothermia isn't a illness. you need to be uncovered to a pathogen which will in turn create the an infection. the explanation why people get ill greater in many circumstances in the wintry climate than summer season is with the help of the fact because of the fact are indoors and around greater people greater in many circumstances. That makes the germs less demanding to unfold.
