Just tell him that you have moved on in your life and that it does not include him, i would leave out the better boyfriend

tell him very easy and get out any other misunderstandings about anything else that he might or you might want to bring up before you close that chapter of your life. you do not want any unresolved issues otherwise he wont go away nicely. tell him in a calm and the most nice way to tell him this while holding his hands or something.

well i hope he was a major jerk to you to be doing that to him-if not that is just cruel to do-if he's a jerk tell hum like you told us-if he's not a jerk but you are cheating on him tell him in a nice mannor like you found this guy -tell him he is a nice guy it just that something was missing in your relationship and the guy you met comlpetes the gaps that were missing and that you truly do stilll care for him it is just that you can't help how your heart feels!! good luck!!

Tell him flat out that you don't want to be together, if he respects you and ever cared about you then he'll respect your wishes if not then you just need to ignore him.I really recommend you leave out the new boyfriend though it might set him off.

I will give you one pointer don't do it in writing . If you stop having sex with a guy it only takes a couple of day for them to move on
