Love is a complicated emotion. I think you can love someone and be "in love" with someone. Lots of people like to think that being "in love" is what lasts forever, but that is a fluctuating emotion. I think the platonic love is what truly lasts forever. If you're with someone and you fall out of love or they do, then you may break up or some people may stick it out and try to rekindle that "in love" feeling. But even if you break up, you still have a love for that person and you usually always will.

WOW! It seems like I come to the same question! I ask this a lot myself. To tell u the truth its hard to answer. Mayb Love isnt just forever! It might just be a metaphor or somtin! Well good luck with your love life!

Love is forever!!!!!! It's all around you!!!! There are soooo many different types of love, and we barely scrape the surface when it comes to love and loving.....break-ups are stepping stones to a greater love down the road...learn from each one, and always be kind, not hateful...

Most people feel a few sparks and jump all over each other without really checking whether or not there is actual 'love'. Eventually they break up because a relationship isn't about lust or physical attraction.

because it wasn't love, it was an interpretation. A sneak peak of what it could be like. it can last forever but, only time will tell.

Cuz people are complicated and most of the time, not always willing to continue to put the effort in that is required all throughout the relationship, not just in the bliss stage.
