I am a Jehovah's Witness and my husband is not. We have two boys and they are only 3 and 1. We have been doing a every other year thing. like this year he gets to do what ever holidays he wants to with the boys. Next year will be mine. So far this has worked out. I feel that it is important that our boys no that even though we differ on many things. We are able to work together as a family and both make sacrifices. Now when the boys are older (not sure how old) They will be able to make there own road. So until then we try to do our best for them.

It is difficult I am much more spiritual than my man but I have no problem instilling religious values in my children as I believe it is better to believe in something than nothing he may not agree with all my beliefs but he doesn't know anything about the bible and doesn't try to stop me from telling my children
The most difficult thing is trying to tell him anything because he says he wants to learn but does not act on it plus his best friend is in a very different religion and is trying to convince him in a different direction
to each his own hopefully every-ones path will eventually lead them to their riotousness

My husband and myself are both born again Christians. We have 3 children who have been raised with our teachings, and who are free to choose their own path.

i am in just that situation. my partner is catholic... im not. i DO believe there is a god.. but i, at the moment, dont have a corresponding religion.

for us, i think for the most part it is pretty easy. we compromise.. and because i know i dont have a religion i am completely open to my partner raising our daughter as catholic..
they way i see it.. religion or faith is a journey... one day my daughter will make up her mind, what she wants to do... (if it be stay being catholic or not) and i feel that at least she got to experience one type of religion.

no matter what she chooses i will love her.
