GIft Ideas?

I just asked this wonderful girl out (first girlfriend :D) and I was wondering does anyone have anygood ideas for a random gift to give just because?

I believe a single rose would be an excellent idea. While red signifies love and may be a bit much, lavendar says you are enchanted with her.. Oh and make sure it doesn't come in one of those little glass beakers like they sell at 7-11. Larger grocery chains usually have a floral dept and they'll put some baby's breath (tiny flowers) and perhaps some tissue and a ribbon. Anything more would not be appropriate for a first date.....

I do not know what you had in mind exactly, but it really is not the money or the amount of the gift cos what really counts is how you treat her as a female and how she responds. The true beauty in this world is how you make a person feel by being compassionate, respecting and supportive..This goes both ways..NO MONEY CAN BUY THAT, AND IT'S FREE AND PRICELESS. Either way, I will wish you both all best that life has to offer.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

Flowers are always nice:) Not red ones but maybe some pink, lavender, or orange roses maybe just 3 or 6.... this would be nice.

Good luck with your first girlfriend, remember to tell her how pretty she is and be a good listener even if she talks about stuff you really don't care about.

Age group? young adult to older adult flowers are always a thoughtfull gift but if you want something more personal get a stuffed animal (build-a-bear trip with her) is something she will have to remind her of your thoughtfullness when you are not there. Another thoughtfull gift is a little blue bird they sell at Hallmark. It is called the bluebird of happiness.

Well of course flowers of even something from a date that you guys have gone on that you kept like a movie ticket stub in a picture frame the more sentimental the better like a picture frame with a picture of you in it or just surprise her with her favorite candy....good luck

If you know what her favorites are you could make her a little basket with her favorite candy bar, favorite type of music CD, favorite gum, etc. Just a bunch of little things but it will show you care and pay attention to what she likes.

Find out what her favorite animal is and buy her a cute stuffed animal. It will show her that you are interested and that you pay attention to what she likes.....that and it isn't too serious of a gift too soon....you know...nothing that will freak her out....it just shows that you are thinking about her.

Listen closely to stuff she says and figure something out...like if she says her fav. animal is a pig, get her a stuffed pig (not a real one...duh) or if she says her fav color, or a movie she likes, or her fav flower. Getting her something that she mentioned in casual conversation shows her that not only you actually listen to what she says (like most men don't) but that you care about her.
