There are tattoos that some people get done with UV blacklight ink. You can only see them under a blacklight.

A solid black tattoo is colorless and you can do that. If you mean no ink used or no visible colors, thats another story.

You can get white ink tattoos, though the color can yellow over time and depending on your skin color may not show up at all.

They can use a tattoo machine without ink to cut and scar the skin causing a ghost image to be left behind

There are also UV ink tattoos which can appear invisible under normal conditions

There are other mod options such as scarification and branding which will mark your body without the use of ink. But care needs to be taken to ensure the process is done by a highly skilled professional to reduce risks and problems.

You can get a tattoo done just in black. But I'm wondering if maybe you are thinking of something called inkless tattooing? It's also called body etching. It's done with the needle exactly like a regular tattoo but no ink, so it looks kinda like a scar and it eventually fades. If you're interested here's a link..

I've heard of "nude" tattoos, but not colorless. The artist uses ink close to your own skin color, thus the effect is sort of invisible. I personally prefer bright colors.

yes they are black. tribal tattoos are colorless (like the one that angelina jolie has on her back) most people that get tribal tattoos get them for religious or cultural purposes and they are usually on the arm back or face. they have no added colors and are made with black ink and a special needle. btw they hurt to get.

Yes, there is. Not visible with normal light, but with ultra-violet. Good for clubbers and alikes. They are really cool. Very expensive, painful (the same as a comon tattoo).

I have white ink tattoos. Most people can only see them when they are up close.
