I think the teachers book is wrong- but I want to double check. Please show your steps! Thanks!

Start here:

Volume of a Cylinder = height x pi x (radius^2)

157 = 8 x 3.14 x (r^2)

Solve for r^2:

r^2 = 157/ (8 x 3.14)
= 6.25

Therfore:

r = sqrt of 6.25
r = 2.5m

The answer i got was 3.12
Volume=2 pi radius times height
157=2 pi radius (8)
get r by itself and u get the ans
