I think you mean "Concorde", the SST, right? I've answered this question before, but since you obviously missed it, the reason is economics. The thing burns too much fuel to make it profitable. Even with fares of more than $ 1,500 one way from the USA to Europe, the plane just didn't make any profit. That's why BOAC and Air France have discontinued its use.

It wasn't a way to make a profit anymore because the prices were so high to fly on it that people were not willing to pay over 1,000 dollars one way. Also after the Air France concorde accident it brought down the popularity. In addition, it burned a lot of fuel so it would not be profitable.

Actually, the condor is making a recovery. Three more chicks were launched at Vermilion Cliffs this last October.

15 foot wingspans, can glide for hours, and have a great outlook on life, and death. Wonderful aircraft. One of natures finest.
