no neon is a 'good car'
hey yayo, it was a plymouth neon, owned by chrysler but they dont make one with chrysler badges.

I own an '05 Dodge Neon and I like it. It's a good car for the price. If you're looking for a luxury car, it isn't, but its great for a small family, a first car for a teenager, or a college student. Good gas mileage too.

We own/have owned 4 Neons including an '05 SRT-4. I have never had any significant problems with any of them including our '95 Plymouth Sport. The Neon is known for its brakes, handling, economical price and roomy interior. After several hundred gas fillups, the average mileage is about 24mpg. The Neon is (or will be) a cult car. People either like or hate them. I am in the like crowd!

Oh good God- No, it is an awful car. I once rented a Chyrsler Neon from Hertz for a weekend in New York (similar to the Dodge) and the car is truely awful. It was designed, before Mercedes Benz bought the company. The ride is awful, the engine is awful, everything about it feels cheap, and i'm sorry to say it, but it's American, Simple as this- you cannot compare any American built vehicle to one built in Europe... the only excepion being a large pick up truck.
Go for a 2002 VW Golf V6 or something.

i own a shop,and they are actually a real good car,the neon has been a good car since they first came out,but the newer ones are a lot better than the older ones,they have a lot of improvements on them now,good luck hope this helps.

Dodge neon's are known for their aluminum heads cracking or exploding... dont buy them if they have aluminum heads you will pay more for them than the car is worth.

you cant beat it for the price. just change the oil regularly, i work at a dodge dealership and all you have to do to those things is regular maintenance, oil changes and tune ups, but we dont ever see them for any problems. good little cars.

I own one. they are not real "cool" looking, but if you are looking for a good value and something good on gas, a neon is not too bad.

HERES A GOOD ONE.... A CHRYSLER PT CRUSER IS ON THE SAME FRAME AS A NEON BUTT YOU PAY MORE FOR THE PT GO FIGURE. MOST PARTS INTER CHANGE INTERNEL.. DONE IT

NO WAY!!!! the Neons are crappy Everyone I have ever known or known of, dislikes them or have had one break down on them.....I would run away if I were you
