I heard that there is something special about carrots that makes them dizzolze different than normal foods.

Yes, you can turn orange. Well, your hands turn orange, but it occurs from a buildup of plant pigments. It's harmless though, and goes away eventually.

Yes, it's frequently seen in infants who are given a lot of yellow vegetables such as carrots, squash, yams, etc. The pigment is called carotene, and the condition, yellow skin, is called carotenemia. It is most noted in fair skinned babies.

In carotenemia, the whites of the eyes remain white. In jaundice due to liver disease, the whites of the eyes appear yellow.

yes, the tip of your nose and cheeks even will change colors, but only if you eat an extreme amount of carrots. like it was stated earlier, the caroten is was causes this

yes but you really would have to eat a lot. something to do with the beta carotene
