Because He is first and foremost, a God of LOVE! This entire universe and the laws that formed it and keep it going, was made for MAN, and his existence here on Earth! I know that may sound nonsensical to you, but it show to us believers in God, His great undying, and eternal love for us. For while we were yet sinners, Christ came to earth, died for our sins, and resurrected, and now stands at the right hand of God on His throne!!
The psalmist once asked that question to when he said, "What is man that thou art mindful of him, and the Son of Man, that thou visits him?" God tells me that your heart is filled with 'shadows of darkness' , a darkness placed there by the many doubts of your (learned mind) in God. God can not be reached through 'reason' but rather through faith and love! This article will help you put a little 'light' (the light of God) on the darkness against God in your heart!!!

We are children of God.
As any parent loves his Children our Father loves us.
God created us for Himself.
When we are hurt, He is hurt.
When we are happy, He is happy.
He knows everything we are going through, That's why we have is Word, to help us in all circumstances.

Yes, it does. He made us, and he loves us like children. He only wants us to be happy and have a great relationship with him just like how a mom would love her child.
