Most people do pray when they are in the most horrendous of situations.

Doesn't our Father in Heaven care?

Apparently not.

Wait for the xians to give you some drivel about how God loves us so much that he gives us free will to do these horrible things to each other. Of course, he doesn't respect our free will enough not to punish us for not worshipping him. Seems he doesn't care about free will at all, or us for that matter.

If God exists, which I seriously doubt,he does not care. I acknowledge the idea of him for your question, and the answer is that he is at best an absentee landlord, and at worst a sadist. He has sat over us for thousands of years, watching butchery and brutality with zero action. The number of innocents alone in all of mankinds brutality is in the 100's of millions from just the wars alone. He does nothing, the question is does he do nothing because he does not care, he likes it,or he does not exist? That's the key, figure out which one and you figure out what to do. If he doesn't care then he deserves your hatred not your worship. If he likes it then he is not the God he purports to be and deserves nothing better than hatred. If he cannot do anything then he is of no use. And if he does not exist then we must try to stop the evil in the world ourselves, and quite frankly half the world doesn't have the marbles to do anything, and the other half doesn't care. And if he won't stop the massacre of 14,000,000 plus in the concentration camps during WW 2 why would he stop something as mundane as a serial killers.

Im not to sure about the serial killer bit, no testimonials from victims! And this drivel about God knowing whats best for his children, seriously how can it be good for anyone to be restrained tortured and eventually killed. Im not following that line of reasoning at all. Maybe He cares but cannot stop it from happening because of life choices that were made by the individual

Yes, I imagine it gives people some hope in the most desperate situations.

Of course God cares, we are His children. We cannot presume to know the mind of God. Yes, terrible things happen, but they happen for a reason. Our Father knows what is best for His children, in time his motives become clear.

As a survivor of violent crime and also having a family member murdered by a serial killer I find the question reprehensible.
God does not intervene, it's that simple. When will we ever learn? Please, don't ever ask a question like this again unless you understand the ramifications.

This is true story.
The plane crashed and a few survivors told their story.
They said that some people were praying to GOD and other people were cussing GOD.

When you get your spirit recreated, you love GOD in your spirit.
If you haven't been saved (born-again) you hate GOD in your spirit.

In an emergency situation, what is in your spirit CAN come outta your mouth (because your soul shuts down and hands it over to your spirit).

I am sure there were some lost people asking GOD to forgive them and save them too.
Hope this helps.

You know that whole " As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death " isn't like you are strolling through candy land. You obviously don't know much history. Christians were murdered strictly for their beliefs, but still kept them. Faith is strong, and we all know we are not meant to stay here.

I would like to know where you got that information. Clearly the dead people didn't tell you.
