What is your definition of "Contemporary Music" within the Christian Faith?

I'm seeking opinions and comparisons between the typical "hymnal" and our music found on the Christian Radio Stations. We live in Minnesota, near the Minneapolis area.

Hmm, my opinion of contemporary Christian music involves a rather rude word which I probably ought not use. I just don't think it's very good (and certainly is rather derivative).
