Use the "file transfer" option in MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger. If it's really 'their' files, that is.
Otherwise...I don't support illegal p2p downloads from kazaa, limewire, etc. And I fully support prosecuting people to the full extent of the law for doing so...because it's wrong. It's stealing money from music artists by getting music for free, instead of buying their cd in the stores...which causes them to lose money. Know how much that costs? A lot more than people realize, to be a musician and pay all of those people helping you.
Software...companies pay thousands and millions to develope software. They have to pay people to write the coding for that software...those programmers are not cheap, they make a ton of money. If people get the software free online...they're stealing from the company (and it's not a matter of whether they 'have enough money already' or not)...it's the whole point.
Pictures shared on p2p softwares...are about 90% ****. Which is destroying the world...killing people's relationships with their families and/or spouse, and causing kids to accidentally stumble upon it; to grow up and do the same.
P2P? People 2 People. Peer 2 Peer. Pirated to piratee. People 2 Prison.
On the other hand...I'm not saying that you are particularly doing that. There are lots of free programs out there for you and your friend to specifically be able to share files with one another, if they belong to each of you individually.

Good P2P software? There is no such thing. It's a virus infection waiting to happen. If the program is worth having...it's worth buying.

Personally I wouldn't use p2p as they are always tracking the users and files. However, a safer alternative for this is to use a torrent. go to www.download.com and look up bit-torrent. you will find several programs there. then it is choose as you wish for the features and options you are looking for.
A great website to find torrents is www.torrentpond.com
this site works as a search engine for torrents. and has searchable links to other torrent sites.
