I'm not a pro on the fischer but the wolverine I can tell you about. Use only a 3-30 conibear.Build a plywood box that will fit around the trap. The box should be about 1 ft by 1ft by 3 ft with the open end being 1 ft by 1 ft. You want the jaws of the trap to fit well inside of the mouth of the box. Cut two grooves about 1 inch wide by about 4 inches deep on two of the sides at the mouth.Lay the box on its side and place the conibear inside of it with the springs resting in the grooves. If the grooves are cut properly, the trap's jaws will not touch the box. PLace the trap to the back of the grooves so that it will jump forward when sprung. You could drill small holes in the back of the box to allow smell to move better.Bait it with your last trapped animal carcase inside or some freezer burned fish or other meat. As you know wolverine aren't picky eaters. To my knowledge their isn't a lure to use as you would with a fox or mink.Screw a vertical plank to the side of the box and screw this to a tree. As the snow level changes you can adjust you set.Secure the conibear with a wolf snare around a green sapling.Make the entire set consise and very secure. The first wolverine I caught chewed up the box levelled everything for five feet around and broke my wiring. And then ran 75 yards with a 3-30 conibear around his torso!
This set is called a cuby and is effective for many animals using various sized conibears.Cubbies are very low maintenance and very high success rate when built thouroghly. Good luck!

you sure ask funny *** questions. in case you are faking, a fisher is kinda like a mink but a wolverine is much bigge and a 1000 times tougher and meaner. they chase away bears and cougers. wolves won't mess with a damn wolverine. pound for poundthe badest damn mammel on earth. maybe any animal. so you will need to get a really special trap for a wolverine. then you better have plan what you do if you succeed in getting the wolerine in your trap. he will run up your *** and chew off you arm faster than a stilhl chainsaw.

I'd contact an Ontario Canada Fish and Wildlife dept for advice.

They're plagued with Fischers and would probably know the best hunting methods. Do be careful though, those things have no hesitation in attacking humans.

You trap a fisher (not fischer) the same way you'd trap a weasel.

As for the wolverine, well they are a bit more difficult---they like their bait stinky and buried in a dark hole.
