My dog had pups about 3 months ago and is in heat , I have 2 male dogs, one is her pup. She is in heat and I am worried that she will get pregnant too soon after her first litter so I been putting old pantyhose pantie part on her , but not sure its full proof., so I will buy some pull ups. Any suggestions? Cant afford spaying yet, but am saving for it. Thanks so much!!

it is strange for her to come into heat three months after the pups were born. You need to keep her away from the males you can't be breeding back to back like that. Is there any way you can let the female stay with a member of the family that she knows real well. For her health you need to keep her away from the males. You sure she is in heat already I find that really weird, I never known that to happen, but I guess it could. Full proof way is get it to a family member. Or take her to the vet and see if she is in heat and if not then you need to get her spayed,. But then again you still need to be careful if she did get spayed.

It's not really healthy for them to have pups as soon as they can, but females are capable of having puppies as soon as they come in heat again. Until you can spay her, you're basically doing the right thing. diapers should work just fine if you put those waterproof reusable panies on over to prevent them getting torn up.

Male dogs will do ANYTHING to get to a female in heat. Seperate them immediately if you don't want to risk pregnancy. The pantyhose trick deffinitly is not fool proof. You need to seperate them.

I would wait at least a year, and get her spayed as soon as possible. Check out local animal shelters as many do spaying and neutering at very reduced prices. (Mine did for $10)

Seperate the males from her. She can definitely get pregnant again.

If she's in heat, she can get pregnant.
