According to Scripture, anyone who is born again by faith in Christ is a saint.
"Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;" Ephesians 3:8
"...Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints," Jude 1:14
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" Ephesians 4:11-12

choose a saint that you respect, inspires you and can aid in drawing you closer to christ. being origional isn't important in choosing the name. the lives of the saints can bring us closer to christ,by following their words and often their actions this can be achieved. if you really want it to be origional the only thing i can suggest is picking the origional name but translating the name into another language for example st james(there is more than 1) would translate
irish-seamus
scottish-hamish
spanish-santiago/jaime
hebrew i think is jacob...........
god bless.
