My guy and I have been getting closer (we have been dating about a month and a half) and he seems to really like me, but the last 2 days he says he wants to make sure he keeps his distance until he knows me better. His last serious girl he was engaged to and cheated on him with his best friend. Is it that fear of getting hurt again? I'm confused and I want him to be comfortable with our pace, but I want to see him and really do like him around. So I guess I want to be comfortable with our pace too-HELP!

Yeah i guess its pretty normal.
I too have been hurt one too many times and I would do the same too.
Sometimes we guys just want to be sure if we're treading on steady grounds/swimming in safe water.[Or what u will]
So just use this period to reassure your man. That's probably what he is waiting for.

I say it's a big possibility that he's afraid of getting hurt again. Everybody knows the pain of heartbreak, especially when unfaithfulness is involved, and who would ever want to experience it again? My suggestion is to have a serious talk with him abot this issue. My experience has been open and honest communication has always been key to a successful relationship.

hes never gonna get comfrotable with your pace until he feels comfortable enought 2. he just wanted take it a little slow just to see who you really are because we a boy and a girl first dATE they love each other so much then after a while they start to fight n argue so let him keep his distance

hey, try dating a guy that after 2 weeks of dating says you are what he wants as a wife, then dumps you 3 days later for no reason other than..." I have a blocked feeling and we are not meant to be" ha guys can be idiots!!!!!!!! good luck hope it goes well for you two
