I've tried every acne product in stores, including clearasil, clean & clear, neutrogena, natures cure, and lots more. Out of the grocery store, the product that worked best for me was Purpose soap. But the only acne product that actually worked was Proactiv. I really love the mask that comes with it. If you get a big ugly zit, you dab a little bit of mask and leave it overnight, and its gone in three days compared to the five to seven it would normally be there. Within a month, i had no zits at all. Personally, I will never use anything else again.

Alright, first never use proactive on your face! It will only make your face red and blotchy. Jessica Simpson is a liar. She does not use that stuff. On the infomercial she like "haha I'm gonna show you that I use Proactive", then she doesn't even put it on her face she just rubs her hands on her face, ITS SO OBVIOUS she's such an IDIOT!

I am gonna tell you what worked and didn't work for me!

I started to get zits in 7th grade and than really bad in 8th-Freshman year, currently I am a sophomore and my face has not been this clear since I can remember.
I recommend Cetaphil Cleanser it is the best thing that has ever worked for me. Its gentle and doesn't dry your skin out. Then I used witch hazel toner with alcohol, this really brings down irritation when i shave. The most important thing is don't moisturize! You may think I'm a complete retard or just a stupid guy. But listen when you put moisturizer on your face you are blocking your pores, I don't care what Cosmo wants you to believe but moisturizer isn't important. Its just a breeding ground for acne. Plus, the moisturizer makes your zits more red. You don't need it your body knows what level of moister it should have in itself naturally so there is no need for it. Also think to your-self do you like having that gunk on your face? When you touch it does it feel unnatural and greasy? Don't use it let your face air out! The best moisturizer is water drinks lots of water!
What also does not work are three step programs for your face all those steps will just irritate it! Your routine should just be wash your face and head out the door. Another thing don't ex foliate this will just your face red also. I am assuming that you are fairly young again your body nows when to shed dead skin cells so there is no need to get this natural routine out of whack! This is only my personal experiences and things may differ with you!
P.S. If you don't wash it off or leave on your face it doesn't work trust me!

What didn't work
Proactive
Burt's Bee- I liked it cause it was natural but all of the oils just gave me blackheads
Moisturizer- Breakout city
Sulfur- turns your skin a weird color
Scrubs and exfoliators like st. Iives- you might as well put glass on your face
Prescription meds- irritates skin causing more pimples
over the counter meds- same thing
Vick's vapor rub- don't ask , smells good tho
dove soap
soap
olive oil

What did work:
salt water
steaming
lemons
oil-free cleansers
witch hazel
any kind of toner
mud masks

I sure hope everyone can see your beautiful acne free face soon.

Oh P.S. My friend used to cake on the makeup because her face had pimples all over it. Then she stopped using it in the summer and her face cleared up significantly. When school started up she wanted to put on makeup again because she adiquetly still had pimples so i suggested she switch from liquid makeup and start using mineral powder make up, she has never before looked so beautiful!

There is no fast solution. From my experience and my line of work I can only advise you to get your skin checked by a dermatologist. They will give you proper treatment and proper definition of what your skin is like. Not every product is for every skin. With that sort of treatment your skin will get better and knowing weather your skin is oily, dry or mix you will be able to buy a proper product for your skin that won't damage it in a long run. Skin is the largest organ and just like anything else you have to treat it right.

I wouldn't really try to squeeze and torture your acne and pimples because you can damage your skin and carry the puss around and make the skin react producing more pimples and acne. Professional has to do that with their tools. I strongly suggest you get an advice from somebody dermatologist or cosmetic expert.

There is no fast solution. If you have A pimple, dab it with salycic acid products or toothpaste, and it will dry up over night. If you have a lot of pimples or bad acne, you will probably need to go to the doctor.

My sister tried Proactiv and it works really well. Takes a few weeks, though.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."

St. Ives Apricot Radiance Cleanser for blemishes is surprisingly helpful. You scrub it on your face while in the shower and rinse it off. It actually works, unlike many of the so-called acne preventing products out there.

Some people also do not wash their hair as often as they should, and the oily hair is left hanging in their faces. The oil from your hair clogs up your pores - not so great for pimple and acne preventing.

Good luck.

Zinc is known to help acne sufferers. Whilst the mechanism by which it works is still not fully understood, a lack of zinc has been shown to increase the production of male hormones. There have been several reports of patients who were 'cured' of longstanding acne (one for over 12 years) which were 'cured' with a low fat diet coupled with zinc gluconate supplements. In a controlled study, zinc was shown to have "dramatic improvement" in approximately 60% of acne sufferers. (8) Zinc is found naturally in generous amounts in brewers yeast, whole grains, brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds.

I stand by ProActiv...I have combination skin which is difficult to clean without feeling irritated. This helped me and I know it can help u. It use to be $30 but now it's $20 with a 60 day money back guarantee so why not give it a try.

Try toothpaste. The detergent and paste is supposed to help dry it out.

Could also try something more medical. Look for products containing Benzoyl Peroxide such as Neutrogena's On The Spot Treatment.
