Yes. The Ohm, Ω, is the SI unit for electrical resistance.
On a side note, it is the ratio of the potential difference applied across the resistor to the current passing through it R=V/I.

Yup, it is. Also the British unit. The only unit. Ditto the volt and the amp. None of them have any multiple definitions as far as I know.
