I am going out with this boy named Mitchel. He is really nice and funny. My friend doesn't support me very well. She always makes fun of him and says that he is ugly right infront of my face? What should I do I really like him. Tonight I was really embarrassed because Mitchel fell at basketball and she said go give him a KISS really loud and I was like um NO. I really like him but I don't get any support from my friends what should I do??????????????

Tell your "friends" to back off! Tell them how you feel and if they aren't going to support you they can find a new friend. They're are being ridiculous. If they say it was a joke tell them they took it too far and you don't appreciate it

why would u be friends with her if she is mean to ur boyfriend? i think that maybe u should stop being friends with her. u know she could possibly be jelous that u have a boyfriend and she doesn't. but im not sure if she has one so i dont know. maybe the friends u have now aren't right for you, move on, and get new ones, that do support you.

I agree with the people that answered to ur ? when they said to tel ur friends how u feel about them making fun of him infront of u and if they dotn like it and if they cant stop making fun of him in front of u then get new friends i had to lose a friend b/c she was making fun of my boyfriend to my face and i couldnt take it and i told her how i felt and she didnt care so i told her that we couldnt be friends anymore and she didnt like the idea she almost killed her self b/c of me tellign her that our friendshipw as over b/c of it but its the best thing to do is find friends that wont make fun of ur boyfriend and that will respect him for who he is

Sounds like to me you need to re-evaluate your friends. It is not like your friend is trying to protect you from an abusive relationship she just doesn't like the way he looks. Sounds pretty shallow to me. How much do you like him? If you like him quite a bit either ignore or ditch your friend. Take the negative out of your life no one needs it

maybe tell your friends how uncomfortable it makes you feel. And if they keep doing it, then get new friends.
