I just went to Pittsburgh children's Hospital b/c my ped. thought that my daughter may have osteogenesis imperfecta...that has been ruled out.....but the genetic doctor has concerns with her eyes b/c she has blue sclera...which is the white part of the eye that has a blue-grey tinge to it....does anyone know what else this could be since the "brittle bones disease" was ruled out?

I am not sure what else it could be besides OI. I did a research project on OI and the blue sclera is caused because of a defect in the collagen as the sclera is made up of collagen. Maybe there are some other disorders that affect collagen? Something to ask the doctor or research on the internet though.

Wish you luck.

I'm interested in this too. My wife is 24 and I feel like her sclera are darker (blue-greyer) than they used to be. Do people's eyes change over time? Should I worry?

Looks like it could be iron deficiency anemia.
