Sorry to hear the intelligence level here is gonna drop another couple notches, and that you have been pushed around to that extent. Can't say as I blame you though. I will hope that with a little rest and prayer you will feel empowered to return some day, in the meantime, take care, and don't cry about it, you have made a sound decision for the preservation of your well being, there is nothing wrong with stepping back from the situation for awhile if you need to, and if you decide it needs to be for good, that is fine too, as long as you are making the best decision you can for yourself. I do hope that the sheer amount of support that is showing up here will bring home to you how much your contributions are truly appreciated, and help to bolster you. Looking around, I see we are almost to 3 pages here....

I know that hateful words can get a person down. It would be one thing if you were hateful toward people and so received hate in return...it still wouldn't be right, but that would be understandable. But you do not spread hatred. You spread love and goodness. Why a person has to suffer for doing good is a mystery to me, but that just is not fair. They put Jesus to death for helping people against their religious beliefs and for teaching people how best to live. And now you are in the same boat.
Your spirit and personality have helped me to become a better person and I will be sad to see you go. I hope you will come back soon so that you can help others as you have helped me. Rest on the couch of Love and Kindness, and when you come back you will be welcomed with hugs from all around. =) We love you!

First I want to say how sorry I am that your feelings were hurt and that you were in tears if the person or persons are not sorry they will have to answer to God. People are hostile and people are mean and dwonright cruel. I just recently got treated like crap on a renuion webiste and I felt so crushed I may not even go to my high school renuion. People who make fun or andh hurt and are cutting with thier words are in a word miserable so Here is what I would like you to do, Try your tears give it over to God and continue being the wonderful person that you are hugsoooooooEncourager4God

I remember when the people here used to respect one another more. This is a very sad sad day indeed, I fell like the last tiny glimmers of kindness are fading away. It is sad, really, I have such good memories of this place. What has it become? A breeding ground for hatred and spite; small people hiding in the dark, striking out at anyone who tries to spread a little light...

Pangel, Groover...torn for what to say. It'll suck here without you, that's for sure - as others have said, you're one - one of very few - I've met who are always a positive influence, whose words ring with sense, humanity and compassion. Without those words, the overgrowth of hate and small-mindedness here will be difficult to keep down. But you're like a wise little sister to so many of us, we don't want you jaded or hurt or disilllusioned by this place. If you go, rest easy for a while and know that your example goes forward in our determination to bring your commonsense, your compassion, and your light to every corner that we can, and when you're rested and recovered, come on back to us, OK?

I know you have stopped crying by now. Please don't be discouraged. You know what I do? I love to think about spiritual things too but am, as yourself, put off by this endless stream of hatred. So I discovered that if I just look at the questions that my contacts in the Yahoo network have asked or answered, I won't have to see all this ugliness. Another option is to look at questions from different countries.
Try to think of it this way: R&S is a subject that attracts opposites. The ones spewing must be hurting really badly. No need to get involved. I don't know, maybe I'm too passive but I'm probably much older than you and it works for me. Love, Kat.

Pangel, I really hope you don't decide to leave. I never got to know you well but I always appreciated the depth and love that came of your questions and answers. . I do understand if you wish to go but please remember that there are so many people here to share your healing energy with and who not only appreciate it but need it. You are making a difference in the world here. Never forget that. I'm so sorry you received hate mail. I know it must make your heart ache. Pangel i hope that you have read all the above answers to your question by my count you have 3 negative answers and 46 positive replies. This shows what the majority of people on yahoo think of you i would miss you very much if you were to leave. you come across as a loving caring and spiritual person and i like and respect you and your opinions even if i might not always agree with them. Pangel you are the last person in the world I can imagine that someone would want to be mean to. You are a sweet person, please don't let the haters get you down.
I felt this way too and I took a break from yahoo opinions and had a nice long talk with my husband. I came back with a renewed sense of purpose and I promised myself I'd ignore those sadistic folks. Please do the same, we want you back!!
