If it's an FPO or APO address, you will be sending it to a military postal facility in the US, and standard US rates apply. Use a 39c stamp. The military is responsible for getting it from that postal facility to the service member.

FPO AND APO addresses are the basic rate of postage..so I think its 39 cents at the moment so you put the FPO address on the front and put a usual rate stamp and off it goes..........all mail is then sent to the central place for the military mail [new york I believe] and then it is handled by the Military postal system...this works out GREAT when posting parcels etc as you only pay "in" USA prices.
Regards

A regular 42 cent stamp will get to Military personnel all over the globe. From the USA anyway. You also do not need any special forms. Just put it in a mailbox.

Every letter my wife sent to Iraq for me was one stamp. Its free for the soldiers to send things home. Standard postage applies for letters to Iraq. Tell that marine to finish the job and forget about this bull at home. He has most of our support. Keep his eyes open
