how long do I have to wait after she has her babies to have her fixed?

Once the kittens have started to wean get her desexed as she can come straight back into season with the drop in milk production, I have seen cats get pregnant when kittens are 4 weeks of age!

well the day that she acts really weird is probably the day that she has her babies an di think that that is about 5mths depending on the day she did get pregnant. So i would say that after she has babies than like a week after she has her babies to get her fixed.

Depending on how far along she is, you can get her fixed before and she won't have any, I did this with my dog. Otherwise, wait until after the kittens are weaned from milk and their mother.

You can generally go ahead and have her fixed, unless her pregnancy is very far advanced. That way, you don't have to deal with kittens now or in the future.

Once she weans her kittens you can usually take her to the vet for spaying...just give your vet a call..they will tell you when they feel comfortable doing this. Good Luck...
