Is this a trick question? Anyone who wouldn't want the US to win has no right to call him/her self an American.

look at this way, we can't win against a few insurgents with small weapons! imagine having to deal wtih some real army. Everyday the news is about how our troops are stretched thin, having to recruit mental patients and people who would have never made it into the army under normal circumstances!!!
Anyways, we should never go into such a war. I think we need to mind our own business, work on improving our economy and stop messing with the politics of other countries cause 4 years ago we messed up iraq our image infront of the world and our troops.

well,if the US wanted to wage full out war with the middle east..it probably depends on the objective of the war..because if the objective isn't right,is not the middle east gets attacked,its the US and its allies against the whole world..heck,maybe you'll have the war of your dreams,nuclear war.
you can't seriously wage full out war in the middle east for fighting against terrorism..its out of the question.

I would want the Middle East to win, because if America starts another war it would probably be as misguided as all the rest.

America of course. Who in their right mind would vote for an opponent of ours. Liberals do not count( I said in their right mind). To me the middle is east is aregion full of hate and evil. Yes they do have nice people but from personal experience most of them hate us and want us dead. Why would I vote for that.

What Human Beings (which you apparently are not) want is to avert all-out war.
If we don't create such a war, we won't have to fight it.

Hmmm, wouldn't that fulfill some kind of a Biblical prophecy and bring about Armageddon? How could anybody win that one? The only safe bet would be to back the cockroaches. I think they just might be the only ones to survive it.
