Are you sticking the ink in your skin with a needle? If you do it right and deep enough it'll last forever. But it looks crappy. Color doesn't look as good either, while your doing it and later on down the line. I would suggest just getting a tattoo done by a tattoo artist, or someone who knows what they're doing. Don't try anything at home if you don't know how to.
