Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 3 months, I really like him and want to tell him I love him, but I don't want to say it first. He seams to come close to saying it but never does. When he's gone, I tell him I miss him, he always says "I miss you more than you miss me" but he's never said the L word. What should I do, and is there anything I can say that may help him say it?

Say it first, it will make him know how much you really do love him, he doesn't have to say it first or even say it actions speak louder dan words........

You are obviously very young. You can't play games and use tricks to try to get people to do things that you want them to. You said that you love him, you need to tell him. There is really nothing that you can do to get someone to say something that they don't want to. I would guess that if he isn't saying it then something must be holding him back (if he even loves you). He may be thinking that he doesn't want to say it first just like you are. You will both end up wasting alot of time waiting for each other if that is the case. If you just tell him how you feel then you can enjoy the next step in your relationship now instead of waiting and hoping that he says it at some point in the future.

Well, my best advice would be for you to say it first. What would it do? The only thing he could say is that he loves you too, right? I mean yea, I know it is harder than it sounds... but isn't everything having to do with relationships? =) I think that you should really just try to get up all the guts you can, and give it a shot!! oh suck it up. would you rather play this silly game and not tell him how you really feel just because you're afraid of not getting an "i love you" back? you know what? he might or he might not right when you say it. it might take him a little more time, but if he really cares about you and makes you feel good then what does it matter. throw it out there and see what happens. maybe he just needs a little nudge.

there is nothing wrong with saying it first...if that's how you feel, say it! If he says it back..great! if not, give him time because sometimes it takes men longer to say it.

I think that you should say it and see what he does. And I think also that he is alittle shy probaley to say it first.
