Tabari VII:7 "The Prophet married Aisha in Mecca three years before the Hijrah, after the death of Khadija. At the time she was six." Ishaq:281 "When the Apostle came to Medina he was fifty-three." Tabari VII:6 "In May, 623 A.D./A.H. 1, Allah’s Messenger consummated his marriage to Aisha." He would be dead in ten years; she hadn't lived that long. This was, and continues to be, child abuse.

Accusing a man of being a child abuser worthy of prison is sad. Yet the evidence is undeniable: Tabari IX:128 "When the Prophet married Aisha, she was very young and not yet ready for consummation." This is how it happened: Tabari IX:131 "My mother came to me while I was being swung on a swing between two branches and got me down. At 6 years old and all left me alone with him sitting on my bed, and Mohamed set me on his lap-in 3 years he consumated the marriage.

it is one thing to be brain washed it is another thing to defend a person that violates little children-girls today mature 2-3 years faster than they ever did -making Aisha around 4 years old when he met her and 6-7 when he did her! so sad -how would u like some one to do your sister or brother at 6 or 7?

the fact that Muslims try to justify it is very disgraceful to me-it is a known fact-saying she was mature for her age is rediculous.

I as a Jew believed Jesus the Messiah and repented for my sins, and got born again as he commands us to do-Revelation spoken to John from heaven 1:1 chapter 1 verse 1 & 3:19&20 "I love you and ask you to repent from your sins, and ask me into your hearts door to help you and be your friend just as in eating together in fellowship."

That's been posted a million times. It's old news by now. Most women of that era were done the exact same way. It was only 20 years ago that India restructured their laws for women to marry at the age of 18 instead of 12-13.

Two problems:

1. She wasn't a "little girl" as she went through puberty before the marriage was consummated.

2. She was engaged to a man before Muhammad (s) who was a non-Muslim and he did not ask to be married to her (the idea was given to her first).

She was the only virgin (all the rest were widows) and she was easily one of the most important females in Islamic history. Greatest Islamic scholar ever!

Regarding Aisha--

Tradition did place her at nine, although new evidence leans toward the fact that she was at least 15. Either way, such practices were far more common in those days. Also, Aisha chose to marry Muhammad, not the other way around.

You know, if you knew anything about the Arabic culture, youd know, that a mans private moment with his wife, would never ever EVER, be spoken about by either himself or the wife like this, unless the wife wants to be killed or something.

To think people actually take this stuff as the authentic sayings of the prophet, is beyond me.

I don't think that Islam uses the book of John in thier holy works. And, if they do, obviously they do not pay attention to that particular scripture.

Yes, it is sad that a man who leads the faith of millions was himself cruel and self satisfying yet it is not surprising. From my experience, most people of Islam would not consider performing this kind of act themselves yet they follow one who blatantly did per their own words.

Christians also have had men who pretended to be Christian leaders yet were found to be lacking in moral judgement so we can not cast stones but I do understand the point you are trying to make.

I think those quotes are all fabricated. I can't find any confirmation on legitimate Quran sites.
