Where can I get a great prom dress and shoes not to expensive? I have waist lenght hair should I get an updo?

Im a native american plus french no i have a sort of olive skin tone what colors would look great on me. And what color o shoe should I get should they be flat have little spikey heels and should they be in
A.Platinum colored
B.White
C.Black
Could anyone just give me some advice?

Try a soft pastel like peach or pink. Pale green will look nice too. Shoes can be heeled sandals that look dressy in an off-white color. Get your hair done in an "updo". It will look great.
I don't know if you have these stores, but Ross is great, so is TJ Maxx. You can also try one of the bigger department stores. Sometimes they have great sales. Have a great time!

if money is a major consideration, start at the consignment shops in your area. they often have brand new or close to new items that will fit the need without killing the dress budget. then yo can afford some nice shoes.

consider a turquoise or medium green dress and a hair do that has some of your length in curls and some pretty braiding or up in combs.

wear heels if you are comfortable in them, otherwise, some nice satin slippers that match the dress. dry cleaning stores can sometimes match colors for you.

of course, basic black with a simple string of pearls is ALWAYS in good taste. your wrap can be faux fur or a simple black wrap with sequins.

silver shoes would be fine with a black dress.

visit a reputable salon and look through their style books for long hair. find a style you like and experiment before your big day.

red is always a good color for olived toned people, it stands out and it is a very sexy color. as for shoes where a heel evenif your tall. dresses look much better in a heel. as for you hair curl it and wear it down, if your curls dont last then try wearing it up with curls around your face. as for shoes you cant go wrong with black because black goes with evrything. also try white, my daughter is olive skined and she wore white and looked great. good luck and I hope you have a great time at your prom. stay safe.
