You have asked your question in the wrong forum, but to answer your question no they should not be denied the right to adopt, that would be denying a child an opportunity to be loved, I have yet to see a child that is being raised in a same sex family become gay or lesbian. It is a fear that most people have because it is not what they call normal.

What goes on in a bedroom with children in the home is or should be kept from them any way whether it is in a heterosexual relationship or a homosexual relationship.

All the people saying yes it should be banned do you think they would be willing to step up to the plate and adopt a child in need of a loving home I can bet they wouldn't or couldn't.

I honestly believe that the welfare of the child is the most important part of adoption. First choice should be a married couple of the same race as the child. If none, then a married couple of a different race. If none then gay couples of the same race. If none, then gay couples of a different race. If none, then single person same race. If none, single person different race.

That is the correct order under which the child's best interests are protected. What I don't see as even remotely fair is Rosie O'Donnell getting infants ahead of married couples who have been on waiting lists for many years. That is immoral not because she was a single lesbian at the time but because it was not in the children's best interest. There are plenty of older children who have no one. She should have adopted one of them.

No. I think a child would be better off living in a home with two people that love him or her, than being raised in an orphange or foster care system.

no, as long as they can provide a good home and support the child they should be able to give a child who needs a loving home. Rosie O'Donnell adopted a child, and she is a lesbian. go for it, if they turn you down bring in the news media.

whats the matter with you people!! my sister has a friend who is a gay male. he is with his partner. the mother of his child walked out of the boys life 15 years ago. he has raised his son to make his own choices. the boy is 17 and dates females. he says his fathers life is his life. does not mean he has to do the same. he also says he loves his father and his partner for giving him a good life.

ABSOLUTELY YES!!!!!!!!

They would just teach any child they adopted, that it was "normal" to have two moms or two dads!

There are way TOO MANY supporters of the homosexual lifestyle as it is, we do NOT need them teaching children that this is "normal" behavior, because it is NOT!!!
If a person is subjected to IMMORALITY enough, they will soon think that this is the NORM!!!

When i was growing up, the homosexuals at least had the "decency" to not FLAUNT the fact!!!

I TAKE OFFENSE at people using the word "gay" to describe this immoral act!!
The Bible says that homosexuality is an ABOMINATION is His sight!!

We should not condone it!!!

We should not accept it!!!

We should teach OUR children to have MORALS!!

NO!!!!!!!! they should not be excluded because they humans like anybody else and the fact that they gay dont mean they are bad people or that they might not know how to race a child

If you mean couples, then yes.

Children need a mother AND a father. Having two mothers or two fathers would actually harm them development-wise.

If a child cannot live with his biological parents, the next best thing is to be adopted by a married couple. No singles, no gay couples.

No. They will probably do a better job then the "normal" people who give the kids up in the first place.
