The bible says get angry but do not sin. Anger itself is not a sin. It's what we do when we are angry that can be a sin.

Get the book on the woman from Rwanda who had been a victim in the genocide of her tribe(1 million people died in 6 months ). Even though she lost every member of her family, she found forgiveness. For three months she was hostage in a 3 by 5 room with seven woman as others searched to kill them.

Her name in Immaculee Ilibagiza. Read her book and you will never feel anger.

Anger is an emotion but acting on it is probably more on our part than God's. Sometimes we may need to release and I think that is just the way it is.

Doing so would make one assume God has communicated with man and has given us "laws, rules, and regulations". This is a bunch of baloney and nonsense. There has been no credible and verifiable evidence that God has spoken to a single individual since the beginning of recorded history. So-called holy books are worthless works of man-made mumbo jumbo, which millions of duped zealots swear by.

God is offended in NOTHING, except when we do not give thanks or when we reject that he has everything to do in His creation of life.

If he is omnipotent, why would he need you to be angry on his behalf? Be angry for those who can't help themselves (children, the impoverished etc) but not on behalf of a superbeing.

Schneb is right, we are to hate evil, but we have no right to be angry on God's behalf, He's perfectly capable of taking care of Himself :)

Getting mad or being angry is an emotion. Acting on that emotion is another matter. "Vengence is mine saith the Lord."
