wow are you people really that obtuse???
listen to yourselves...if you're pretty youre probably an idiot??? really? you cant be beautiful and kind at the same time?? i think this says a lot more about your inner ugliness than anything else.
my mother is the most beautiful, exotic, stunning person i have ever seen. she is also the kindest soul. growing up my mother would routinely see the elderly waiting at bus stops on hot florida days and offer them rides home.
that is just the tip o the damn iceburg.
open up your eyes.
from the sounds of you people youre not just ugly on the outside, youre ugly on the inside too. a kind person would have responded differently.
but to answer your question, it does mean that it is rare for a person to be beautiful and good. RARE. not impossible. and this is just a quote, not the word of god.

It just means it is rare to find a physically beautiful person to be also an internally good person. A lot of the beautiful ones have behaviors that stink, and a lot of the less beautiful ones who have hearts of gold.
Sometimes because a person is beautiful, she tends to be more condescending, more "high hat", more into themselves rather than trying to foster better relationships with others.

You can't have both at the same time. You can only get one of these things at once. And it is true.You barely see someone beautiful that does something good for other people or anything else. Or am I wrong?

it definitely relies upon if the ask your self is boisterous or humble . If is boisterous will be not likely to have goodness , in view that a boisterous elegance is selfish and selfish witch is with out goodness , yet when the ask your self is of a humble personality , it ought to have lots of goodness and fortunate the man who have got here across both in some one else , I definitely have !!!

I can only disagree...Personally, I feel that the greatest beauty a person can exhibit is their goodness.
