I'm signing a longg 6yr contract and I'm posotive ill get to place in the MOS I want as a 0311(rifleman) in the infantry. I know ill face deployments and everything but I won't be deployed for 6 yrs straight so I was wondering if it was possible to some how get a degree in that amount of time. what do you all think?

You will have access to the online community college program while deployed and on overseas bases... and many colleges teach extension classes on military bases stateside and.. I believe on our permanent bases overseas. The answer is, "Yes." If you are focused on finding time to do it all. Sure, you will be deployed, but you will still have your non-deployed time in which to pursue the degree. With every degree or certification you earn, you're more promotable, too! also, the GI bill is alive and well, and will pay for college once you're out... so if you're nearly done but not quite, that'll get you through it.

Yeah. Last I heard the military even had a program which would pay for up to 95% of all the cost.

Yes you can. I've known many who have done it. It is even far easier now with the on line classes.
